Telangana govt to provide free education to promote girls education
Hyderabad, Jan 10 (ANI): Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari proposed to provide free education to promote girls education in the country. The cabinet meeting held in Hyderabad was headed by Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari. Jharkhand Education Minister Niraja Yadav, Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma, Special Human Resources Development Department Special Secretary Rinarayi, Member Secretary Meenakshi Garg and other officials attended the meeting. During the meeting, the Education Minister said the reforms were initiated to promote girls education in Telangana. He added that this cabinet meeting was intended to encourage girls and provide free and compulsory education to the PG to promote girls’ education. Presently, there is a special education center for women in Telangana, which has been established for degree courses for residential colleges, SCs and ST girls. The same is to be implemented in all the states across the country.
